1. Season the Tomahawk steak with kosher salt and black pepper powder to your liking.
2. Preheat oven to 275°F for 15 minutes
3. Place seasoned Tomahawk for 15mins then check every 5 mins till the steak reaches the desired temperature, using a steak thermometer.
For medium-rare: Steak reaches 90 to 95ºF on the thermometer
For well-done: Steak reaches 100 to 105ºF on the thermometer
4. Then, on a frying pan, heat up butter, add garlic and rosemary and sear steak for 2 mins on each side, placing the steak when the butter has melted and the pan is hot. This would allow for a flavourful and crispy exterior texture. It is recommended to reverse sear.
