Also known as Atlantic Cod, or Chilean Sea Bass, it is a high-quality fish that contains high levels of Omega-3 Fatty acids. This aspect of the fish makes it not only delicious, but makes it very beneficial to your health.
It is also a prime choice of fish for young child for the following reasons:
- Great Source of protein to help your metabolism and keep you strong
- Plenty of Omega-3 Fatty Acid that will help fight inflammation and keep you healthy
- High amount of Vitamin D to keep your mood up and your bones strong.
Our fillets contain minimal to no bones as our team will remove the bones that they can see and feel. However, there may still be small pin bones hidden in between the flesh which we may not be able to spot, so we will advise to exercise caution before feeding young children or the elderly!
Most of our cod fillets are tail portion in order to ensure that they are as boneless as possible.
Once thawed do not re-freeze it.
