Milagro’s Añejo is triple-distilled, as is the entire line, and it is packaged in yet another variation of the shaded-color bottle theme–this one hinting of topaz. The 100% brick oven-roasted Highlands agave spends 18 months in American oak whiskey barrels, yielding a spirit that is medium amber in color.
DISTILLED FROM 100% BLUE WEBER AGAVE, IT IS AGED FOR AT LEAST A YEAR IN BARRELS NOT TO EXCEED 600 LITERS. ANY TYPE OF WOOD IS ACCEPTABLE, BUT EX-BOURBON BARRELS ARE MOST COMMON. AÑEJO TEQUILAS ARE ALSO KNOWN AS “AGED” OR “EXTRA AGED”.
