Emperor Oysters are raised in the Seto Inland Sea area of Okayama - which is known as the “home of oysters". In this area, it is blessed with the purest river canal connecting to the ocean with no population. This makes Emperor oyster very safe comparing other areas. The gentle waves and moderate tidal current makes it an ideal place for oysters to grow.
These are large, meaty oysters is full of nutritional value. They are characterized by a fine and delicate umami, and sweet taste!
Once imported to Singapore, all oysters are subjected to rigorous quarantine procedures mandated by the SFA. Only those that meet the stringent quality standards are allowed to be distributed to consumers. As a result, you can indulge in these sashimi-grade oysters with absolute confidence, knowing that they have passed the necessary inspections and are safe for consumption.
